God is so Faithful

Dear Prayer Partners

In the midst of all the distressing news of the collapsed road, overflowing

rivers, washed out homes and all the rest, we have some GOOD NEWS to share with

you!! God is so FAITHFULL!! He performs miracles when we least expect it!:-)

We'd like to share the following "Praise Report" with you:

Today, at the usual Monday Medical Clinic at Longezia, we witnessed a wonderful

miracle!

Amongst the many patients today was a self confessed witch doctor. Lonika

Mudishi (known as Dr Munchindu) told Tessa (who was doing registration) that she

is well known in her area - Mwanjoke village - other side Zambeef Farm. People

even came from as far as Lusaka to consult with her....She said she NEVER goes

to a hospital or clinic and her children (she had two little ones with her) have

never been to the "Under Five Clinics". Yet, this morning when she woke up she

had an inexplicable urge to come to our clinic! Hallelujah!

She walked about 6 km to the clinic and patiently waited in line. As she spoke

to Tessa, Tessa felt impressed by the Lord to share the Gospel with her. She

stopped registration and took this lady aside and starting sharing about the

love of God with her. She then led her to a confession of faith in Jesus

Christ!

When Tessa came and called me Lonika was beaming with joy and overcome with

thankfulness when I gave her a Citonga Bible! She pleaded with us to PLEASE

come to her village and start a church there! Fanwell will do follow up and,

weather permitting, Tessa and I will also visit her at her home soon.

Please take time to PRAISE GOD with us for Lonika who has found NEW LIFE in

Christ today! Pray that she will not fall back into her old ways, but be able

to stand firm in her new found faith.
